Sankalp Special Child Centre, started in 2015, provides evidence-based therapy for children with developmental, learning, and neuropsychological needs. Founded by Dr. Jayanthi M and Ms. Mahalakshmi Shanmugam (Kavitha), the centre offers personalized care through a skilled team that works together to support each child’s overall growth and well-being.

Meet the Team

Director

Dr. Jayanthi M

Dr. Jayanthi M, RCI registered Child Psychologist, Consultant and Early Intervention Therapist in Bangalore.
Also a member of IAAP. She received PhD from Mother Teresa Women’s University, Post-Graduate Diploma in counseling from Annamalai University, certified Hypnotherapist from California Institute of Hypnosis. Also received certificate in Early Intervention and diploma certificate from Rehabilitation Council of India.

Director

Mrs. Mahalakshmi Shanmugam (Kavitha)

A psychologist and special educator with 19 years of experience, she specialises in ASD, behaviour therapy, early intervention, infant stimulation, and counselling. She completed her BCaBA coursework in 2020 and is currently pursuing ABA training through the QABA board.

She has trained parents, teachers, and interns, and has led multiple awareness programs across Bangalore.
